No. Cleanmail never touches your inbox. It doesn't move, label, delete, or rearrange a single email, so your Gmail looks and works exactly like it always has. Cleanmail just builds a separate, organized view alongside it.

Never. We do not sell your information, and we never use your email for advertising. You mean too much to us for that.

Your raw emails are not kept. At digest time they're summarized and then discarded. Only the short text summary is stored, never the original message.

No. Cleanmail never sends, replies to, or deletes anything in your inbox. Its Gmail access is read-only, so it can read but never write.

It asks for permission to add and edit events on your Google Calendar. It never asks for permission to delete or manage your calendars themselves. You can check the exact permissions on Google's own consent screen when you connect, so you don't have to take our word for it.

The dates buried in your inbox land on your Google Calendar automatically, no copying and no retyping. Sync is dedicated two-way: edit or delete one of those events in Google Calendar and Cleanmail updates too. The events already on your Google Calendar show up right inside Cleanmail as well.
